The year the movie made the name famous.

The basics

Trainwreck meets Hawaiian

Pineapple Express is a sativa leaning hybrid made from Trainwreck and Hawaiian. Trainwreck brings a sharp, spicy kick and Hawaiian brings the tropical fruit.

The name went mainstream with the 2008 Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy of the same name, and growers and shoppers ran with it from there.
